For Chingu Dachi HQ (along President's Ave., BF Homes)  

Graphic Artist (part-time, work from home)

  • Residing nearby HQ is not required, but a plus for occasional in person meetings and team dinners.
  • Must have a computer and stable internet connection at home.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with the team, especially working close with marketing and the owner for the exchange of ideas, peer design reviews, etc. 
  • Team player who thrives in a collaborative work environment.
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design and typography principles and the ability to apply them to solve marketing and business challenges. 
  • Basic knowledge of current graphic design (and related) software applications as well as task management sites.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Familiarity with current design trends and ideas especially on social media is a plus.
  • At least high school graduate.
  • Part-time post only, with flexible hours as long as task is delivered in a timely manner/as required.

Main Tasks include: Designing and producing internal and external marketing and communications materials that bring Chingu Dachi to life. Materials include: social media and website content for marketing campaigns and brand initiatives, digital and print promotional materials for the store and cafe.

For fanmade items designed by the artist, the artist earns extra in commission for every sale made.

For Chingu Dachi Cafe+ (near UST, Manila) 

Kitchen Staff (k-cafe side)

  • Must be residing near our site at Piy Margal cor. Don Quijote, Sampaloc, Manila.
  • Experience in a similar post in food and beverage is not required, but a huge plus.
  • Must have passion in cooking and/or baking and thorough knowledge of food safety procedures.
  • Produce quality food and adhere to recipes and presentations for all food and pastry production.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
  • Willing to be trained and to continue learning about food and pastry preparation.
  • Flexible enough to handle pressure and work around peak hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be a team player, quick learner, with pleasing personality, and good communication skills.
  • Must be punctual and able to observe regular and consistent attendance.
  • Able to contribute to a positive team environment.
  • At least high school graduate.
  • Full-time post only. Salary and benefits are discussed during interview.
